Nicole Shepard, The First Human Spectre
So, I guess this is my first post. I guess I should post a little bit about myself.
Commander Nicole Shepard of the SSV Normandy, Alliance Navy. Been a part of the Navy since I left Earth at 18. Damn good with a shotgun, even better with pistols, L3 biotic.
Those are the basics, I guess. My childhood was pretty crappy, but joining the Alliance changed that. It changed everything, to be honest. I never really had a family until I joined the Normandy.
Speaking of, Joker, our flight lieutenant, was in prime form today. We’re going on some sort of mission, the particulars are kind of vague, but there’s a Specter, a Turian named Nihlus, on board with us. Joker thinks there’s something really fishy about this mission. Just about everyone agrees with him. When I say ‘just about’, what I really mean is everybody but Alenko.
Yes, Kaidan Alenko the boyscout. Good man, even better soldier, but too by-the-book for my liking. He’s convinced that Nihlus is just here to ‘protect the Council’s investment’, since they’re funding this little expedition. I think he’s a little too trusting.
Or, maybe I’m not trusting enough. Who knows? I’ve never been too good with people. I just do my job and hang out with Joker, really. He’s the truest friend I have on this ship. He’s honest and funny. Not too hard on the eyes, either.
Okay, I’m rambling now. That probably means I should stop. I guess I’ll write more after the mission, whatever it may be.
Call me crazy, but I have a not-so-great feeling about it.
